1. Soldiers
These are people who spend days, weeks, months, and even years to push themselves to the limit and focus on others’ safety before themselves. Soldiers protect those behind them and complete the mission in any type of environment while getting paid the bare minimum and risking homelessness and divorce while deployed.
2. Police Officers
Policemen and women don’t regularly get breaks, as they are quite literally first responders to a number of issues in their areas. Only one third actually gets to enforce the laws the other half spend time maintaining peace and solving problems. Over the last 10 years, 2,652 officers have died in the line of duty, with their names engraved in the national memorial. Police officers put their lives on the line for the people of our country and we should be very grateful.
3. Doctors
Doctors are people who are literal life savers, considering they spend up to 11 years of schooling to become a doctor. They learn everything from basic science, anatomy, microbiology, pathology, and more just to save your life and treat you with whatever you need. There are around 1,062,205 doctors in the United States in the pediatrician field.
4. Teachers
As a part of the United States Department of Education and vital part of life, they are here to give the generation of students the knowledge they need to make it in life. Teachers generally work around 53 hours a week. This is 7 hours more than the usual adult, with 25% of their work being uncompensated. They do all that and basically babysit kids of all ages, making bear minimum and have to keep a smile on their face.
5. Firefighters
Firefighters specialize in putting out and containing the fire. Firefighters are equipped with multiple different things to handle situations, such as a hose, fire extinguisher, ladder, and more. They are paid 40k through 120k per year and average $25.14 an hour. Being a firefighter is a very life-risk job, as you must have the guts to risk your life and put yourself out there for others. Firefighters also need to have a lot of strength and power to be able to run with heavy equipment!
Personal opinion
These guy deserve more respect than is regularly given to them, as without them, we would likely be a very chaotic world with more destruction than we already have currently! Next time you see someone you consider a hero, give them a big thank you and show your appreciation for their services in our community.
