Love, something that people thrive to get or be part of. It’s pure and amazing but it can also be powerful and unstable. But if you love someone so much that you can accept them for who they are, true love can appear. Something that is so powerful that it can conquer anything.

Summary

The movie begins with Yuta being bullied and threatened for his life. He calls out the name Rika and the bullies get taken. After that day, Yuta is taken to a room where he will be taken under the care of Gojo. Gojo explains that Yuta will be going to a special school that will help with his curse. That day, Panda, Maki, Toge get introduced to Yuta but prepare to attack from the menacing cursed energy he is projecting. Gojo tells them to back away, as Rika phase through the wall and attacks them. In a flashback, Yuta remembers receiving a ring from his friend Rika, saying that it is a promise that they will be married. Later that day, Rika gets into a car accident and comes back as a curse. Gojo assigns Maki and Yuta on a mission and she quickly explains that he needs to step up if he wants to make it. On the mission, Yuta and Maki encounters a giant curse and get eaten. Maki passes out and Yuta summons Rika’s power to save them. On that day, Yuta wants to break Rika’s curse. Later that night, Yuta’s school ID gets taken on the site. Yuta trains with the others and gets a cursed tool to help us Rika’s power. Yuta and Toge get assigned a mission and learns about Toge’s cursed speech while learning how to use Rika’s strength. While Gojo is looking at the reports, he finds out that a special grade sorcerer was the cause for most of what is going on recently.

Later that day, the special grade sorcerer shows up on the school grounds. He introduces himself as Suguru Geto and want Yuta to hand over Rika’s curse. When Yuta refuses, Geto delcare war on Jujutsu High School. Later that day, Geto prepare to kill Yuta and to take Rika for himself. Maki and Yuta are left at the school and Maki opens up to Yuta about her past and her dream. From a distance, Geto traps Maki and Yuta in a veil, while Gojo and the other sorcerers prepare to fight a large amount of curses and cursed users. To help Yuta and Maki, Gojo send Toge and Panda to them. Panda fights Geto but Geto is holding his own against Panda. Toge stops Geto to check on Maki but they all get knocked out from Geto’s cursed technique. Yuta summons Rika to attack Geto but they both get overwhelmed by curses. Yuta uses his cursed energy to heal them but Rika get jealous of Maki. But Yuta tells Rika to protect Maki and to hate Geto. With Rika’s abilities, Yuta summons a megaphone to copy Toge’s cursed speech. At the same time, the sorcerers are fighting off the hoards of enemies in the city. One of the curse users, Miguel fights Gojo and is able to get past Gojo’s ability. Gojo gets serious and easily takes down the curse around him and Miguel.

Geto get proud of Yuta for adapting to the fight and takes on Rika and Yuta at the same time. Yuta, finally snapped, lands a black flash and yells at Geto that he will protect his friend and kill him. As Geto gets tired of fighting prepares a devastating attack to kill Yuta. Yuta understands why Rika has protecting him and why she was so powerful. Yuta tells Rika that he loves Rika and he needs to borrow her power one last time. Rike unleasese her true power and prepares to die with Yuta. Harnessing the power of true pure love, Rika shoots a beam at Geto and brings him to the brink of death. Gojo finds Geto and says his final words to Geto as he passes away. At the same time, the curse is broken and Rika’s spirit rests in peace while still giving Yuta her power. Sometime later, Gojo and Yuta talk and Gojo hands Yuta his ID and says his best friend found it. Much time later, Yuta and Miguel eat and talk, while Gojo visit Yuta for something important.

This was a great movie with action, great visuals, and a great meaning. It showed the meaning of true love and relationships. Even while it’s in an unrealistic setting and plot. As cheesy as it sounds, love is one of the most powerful things ever. The love you feel that transcends physical or spiritual form, is pure love. I give this movie a 8.7/10.
