Dawn Sees is a Graphic Design Instructor at Nichols Career Center in Jefferson City who has assigned a project to her students. Most projects are worth big grades, but this project will tell the future of our Jefferson City flag!
Each student in her class had designed different Jefferson City flags, and the choices to pick from have slimmed down to 6 choices for the community themselves to choose from! The flags were expected to reflect the city’s history, landscape, culture, and the future.
The flag voting began on April 10th, and will end on April 21st.
The voting rules include:
- One vote per person,
- Open to the Jefferson City residents,
- The winning design will be announced after the votes have been counted.
Once the winning flag and winning color pallet choice is chosen, the final design will be released shortly after.
