The Capital City 2025 homecoming dance, spirit week themes, football game, and more are listed below! Spirit week will take place from Monday October 6th to Friday October 10th, stay informed and make sure to attend the dance and support our football team Friday night!

• Monday Oct 6th –

  • Pajama day. Wear your comfiest and cutest pajamas for a cozy school day

• Tuesday Oct 7th –

  • Match with a friend. Wear matching colors or outfits with your best friend, or even your whole friend group!

• Wednesday Oct 8th – 

  • wear sports gear. Wear your favorite teams jersey, or even your own sports uniform, show out for your favorite sports teams

• Thursday Oct 9th –

  • Wear concert/artist merch – show off your favorite artist or band by wearing their merch, or even support your school by wearing capital cities music shirts

• Friday Oct 10th –

  • Wear your grades color
    • Freshman-white
    • Sophomore-Gray
    • Junior-blue
    • Senior-pink

However, Spirit Week isn´t the only thing with a theme, The homecoming dance theme has been revealed as “Mamma Mia!” a hit early-2000s musical, the theme is very unique and can be interpreted in many ways, the dance will take place at capital city high school from 8-11 PM on the 11th, make sure to purchase your tickets for $10 during 1st-4th lunch the week before the dance. The homecoming court top 5 have already been announced and the King and Queen will be announced during the homecoming assembly on Friday October 10th at 9 AM, then that following night the CCHS homecoming football game will be held at capital city high school playing against smith-cotton. make sure to show up and cheer for cavs!
