Student Council is hosting a Bash the Birds Car Bash upcoming for September 24th, at 5:30 in one of the main CCHS parking lots. On September 24th, Capital City’s Varsity Football team will be playing against the Jefferson City Jays at Adkins Stadium at 7:00 pm. In hopes of ‘bashing the birds’ during the actual football game, CCHS Student Council is bringing in a vehicle from a salvage yard, that students are able to pay 1 dollar per swing. The money raised from the car bash will help fund Student Council’s budget. Students who pay to hit the vehicle will be able to pick from using a sledgehammer or a baseball bat.

In addition to a car bash before the big game, Student Council will also be featuring a spirit bus that transports students to Adkins Stadium. Sign ups for the spirit bus will begin next Monday, September 20th. The fee for the spirit bus will be 5 dollars for admission, and students will receive a spirit gift and snack. Students will need to fill out a permission slip in order to be transported from CCHS to Adkins Stadium.
