Gearing up for Super Bowl Sunday

Taylor Ruch-McGee

Alright lets talk. Being that we live in the middle of Missouri, I’m gonna guess that you were probably rooting for the Chiefs to go to the Super Bowl, but lets face the facts. While it was a close game, the Bengals beat the Chiefs. End of story.

At the start of the playoffs, I thought it was going to be the Chiefs and the Rams. Almost surely nobody had the Bengals (especially after finishing last year 4-11-1). Quite frankly, I don’t know who is going to win, but if I had to choose to who root for, give me Los Angeles.

Super Bowl aside, the other major news surround the NFL has to be the retirements of both Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady. Like many, I figured that Big Ben would retire after this year, but I did not expect Brady to, especially after a divisional loss to LA. After 22 years in the NFL and 7 super bowl rings, Brady is nothing but the G.O.A.T. when it comes to professional football. I am excited to see what fresh new faces come up, and which current quarterbacks can establish themselves as elite material, and   fill the shoes of the past players.

So who do you got in this Sunday’s game? Bengals or Rams? Leave a comment with your score prediction! At the very least, hopefully it will be a Super Bowl worth remembering.
