Starting March 21st though March 25, CCHS has a new week to encourage kindness. March Kindness Week is a series of days dedicated to celebrating being kind to one another and STUCO has come up with a few ways we can celebrate it.

March Kindness Sock Drive

From March 14-24, STUCO will be collecting new socks to donate the local Samaritan Center. A sock drive competition will be held between third period classes. For each pair of socks donated, a class earns 1 point. The class with the most points by the end of the day on Thursday, March 24 will win a catered Chick-Fil-A party.

Buttons and Pin Sales

At lunch during starting March 21st through March 25, STUCO will be selling buttons and pins to share the message of kindness. STUCO will be selling selling 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch buttons for $1.00, and a 1.25 inch x 1 inch pin for $2.00.  There are limited quantities, so if there is a design you like best be sure to get it while you can!

CC vs JC Staff Basketball Games

On March 23rd, come out to support both your CCHS Staff members and Special Olympics of Missouri (SOMO) at the inaugural CC Vs JC Staff Braggin’ Rights Basketball Games. Two games are to be held in the CCHS Gym with the “B” Game starting at 6:30 and the “A” Game starting at 7:30. Tickets can be purchased in advance during lunch for $3.00 or at the gate for $5.00. All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics of Missouri.
