Fall officially starts on September 23rd this year, so be prepared! The weather is changing, the leaves are starting to fall off trees, and people are beginning to feel the Fall spirit! Not only that but Starbucks, 7 Brew, Scooters, Dunn Bros, along with other coffee places in Jefferson City are starting to or have already released their fall menu, get siked!

I interviewed some teachers and students on their fall plans, maybe you can get an idea or two from them!

Teachers

Mrs. Murphy: “Hanging out with my boys, going to Trunk or Treats, hiking, and going outdoors. I want to do the special Halloween stuff.”

Ms. Segerstrom: “I love pumpkin patches or haunted houses. I want to go somewhere that will freak me out beyond belief. I’m a huge Halloween fan!”

Ms. Klostermam: “I’m planning on going to Six Flags for the fall holiday stuff or going camping with my family.”

Mr. Connor: “I might camp a little and spend some time with my cat in the dark. Maybe make a pot of chili. If I don’t go camping, I’ll at least do a fire in my backyard.”

Mr. Johnson: “I’m for sure gonna go camping, it’s nice and cool at night. I want to go down to Bentonville, Arkansas to hit the mountain bike trails.”

Mr. Cotton: “Go to a corn maze, it’s a real-life puzzle! I also like to carve pumpkins every year. In the fall season or any time of the year, get me Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.”

Ms. Tate: “I want to go to a pumpkin patch or a haunted house with my little sister. I’ll probably do Friendsgiving with some friends. I also wanna throw a Halloween party.”

Señor Short: “I am going to see Gabriel Iglesias in October, watch the Chiefs, go to the CCHS home football games, and have lots of campfires.”

Students

Kenyon Burns: “I’m gonna hang out with my girlfriend, watch movies, play video games, and go to games.”

Esteban Gonzalez: “Spend my time playing the new Spider-Man 2 game. I wanted to work on my costume for Halloween or practicing soccer.

Grayse Surrell: “I plan to spend time outside, go to pumpkin patches, haunted houses, football games, and hanging out with friends.”

Amyia Davis: “Spending time with my family, sleeping, and eating.”

Myla Wilson: “Go to Six Flags on Halloween and trick or treat with my man. And hang out with him and his sister in Kansas City. I also want to go to lots of Halloween parties and watch movies with my man.”

Bronlynn Turner: “I want to make the classic Pillsbury cookies and watch scary movies. I plan on being Lola Bunny from Space Jam for Halloween.”

Kaley Santos-Prieto: “I’ll go to Fishers Farm, paint pumpkins, and wear matching costumes with my friends and boyfriend.”

Cooper Simmons: “First of all, I’m going to an All Time Low concert in Chesterfield, Missouri and for the concert afterward, I’ll be out of state for two days in Rosemont, Illinois for Maneskin.”

Have fun during the fall season and enjoy it while it lasts!
