G-Force is a 3-d Disney movie about a special group of animal agents called G-Force. These furry friends are attempting to stop the main villain, Leonard Saber, from taking over the world.
G-Force consists of Darwin, Blaster, Juarez, Speckles, and Mooch. Darwin is the team leader, Blaster is the weapons and transportation of the group, Juarez is the martial arts expert, Speckles is the cyber intelligence expert, and Mooch is the high tech surveillance. Darwin, Blaster, and Juarez are Guinea Pigs, Speckles is a Mole, and Mooch is a Fly.
You see, the one who created G-Force was Ben and his assistant, Marcie. Ben thought that if animals such as carrier pigeons that delivered messages across the front lines of WWI, and Dolphins that detect mines underwater in the Vietnam war, could be apart of the government, why not Guinea Pigs? Ben believed that Guinea Pigs could help the government with highly stealth missions, like infiltrating an enemy base undetected, and hack into their computers and find information on the enemy.
Their main mission in the movie is to stop Leonard Saber from activating Saber-sense, which he thought would allow all devices he created to communicate with each other. Such as a coffee maker to tell your home computer to add coffee to your shopping list. Although his business partner, Mr. Yanshu, designed them to have a military-grade Microchip that’ll cause the devices to transform into robots designed to combine into robot monstrosities to attract old satellites, booster rockets, and millions pounds of debris from space to come crashing down on earth, forcing every human underground.
The government believed that the G-Force team was unfit to be a special team of agents, so they decided to shut them down. The government wouldn’t listen to Ben, so he decided to have G-Force escape from the lab and head to his house, but they ended up in a pet shop instead! G-Force would then meet Bucky, the hamster who claims that he is not part ferret, a trio of Mice who’ll agree to everything, and Hurley, another Guinea Pig with a lazy personality who just wants to find a family. But what he didn’t know, is that Darwin had the same birthmark on his butt just like him, which means they are related, maybe even brothers! Except, Darwin did not believe that, since he believed he is a genetically engineered, super spy.
G-Force needed to escape the pet shop, so they asked Hurley if he knew how to escape. Hurley explained to them it’s pretty simple with this following quote, “Act cute, the kid picks you out, takes you home, and bingo, you’re part of a family. Except, well, they never pick me.” Luckily, an elderly man with his grandson and granddaughter came in. After what Hurley said, G-Force planned to act cute and get adopted to escape. Juarez and surprisingly, Hurley got picked out, except the boy who picked Hurley didn’t want to adopt him, he only wanted to put him in his lacrosse stick and heave him across the store and into the Snake tank. Fortunately, he missed, and Hurley landed in the tank next to the snake. The snake still tried to attack him, and Hurley still screamed in terror. Hurley even replied back by saying, “Well, you’re lucky I’m not in there Snake-boy! Cause it would’ve been lights out for you. I would’ve hit you so hard, you would’ve shed yourself. Then I would’ve turned you into a nice pair of Snake-skin Boots.”
Eventually, Blaster and Juarez escaped the pet shop, but Darwin and Speckles were not able to. When the family left, the guy soon found Hurley, and said, “There you are. I knew you were trouble. I can see it in your eyes.”
I personally loved this movie. It was the best and probably the only guinea pig spy movie. The characters are great, the scenes were epic, and the animation is top notch. My favorite scene was when Blaster had an idea to use one of Hurley’s farts and scraping 2 rocks together to make a spark to create a huge fire ball to open the cage, but it backfired, emphasis of “backfired,” the glass was unaffected and left one of his whiskers singed. Darwin said, “Blaster, why don’t you leave the tactics to me?” Blaster then said, “OK. No problem.” then pinches the singed whisker to put out the tip. When I watched that scene, I died laughing and could not stop replaying that scene in my head. I heavily enjoyed this movie, and maybe you could too!
