In the month of October, I sent out a Google Form regarding favorite Thanksgiving dishes. After a close review of what is the favorite dish, the dish with the greatest number of votes was mashed potatoes!

Other Thanksgiving favorites included dinner rolls, stuffing, and pie. There were even eclectic dishes including empanadas and baked mac and cheese. “It shows off the culture of my family and it is just a plus to any party,” said Bravo.

Out of those surveyed, what people said was what they enjoyed most, other than food was related to family coming together. “My favorite thing about Thanksgiving is getting to gather around the table with my family. My grandparents always find new stories to share and I never get tired of hearing them,” said senior Kacy Highfill.
