The first round of districts for the Capital City volleyball team began Tuesday, October 18th.
The volleyball team’s first appearance was against Helias Catholic High School. In each set we played, the scores were between two points. Even though we didn’t get the results we wanted, we still put up a good fight and accomplished as many goals this season as we could. For example, beating many teams Varsity hasn’t before, not losing one set in tournaments, and tons of other objectives.
Learning all of these new things and adapting this season will only prepare us to be a better team next year. We will continue to keep our heads up and work hard over the summer and in volleyball season. Those going into club season as well will continue to get touches to prepare for our season as well as get variations of experience. Next year districts are going to be a whole different conversation and energy level trustttt!
