On Friday, October 6th, CCHS competed against SCHS for the Homecoming football game, with CCHS Football leading a strong victory! Throughout the game, the Capital City Football team made strong touchdowns and were able to beat Smith-Cotton 48 – 21. The crowds went wild as they continued to score throughout the evening. Congrats to the football team for winning!

At half-time, the Capital City Dance and Cheer teams performed phenomenally, as well as the Band and Color Guard, who executed a remarkable performance.

Personally, I felt it was incredibly rewarding and fulfilling to see our school’s Football team win the Homecoming game and to know lots of people had a good time at the Homecoming Dance itself. Optimistically, I hope there are lots more games to be won in the future and even more school dances to enjoy.
