CCHS Vs. JCHS football game

Our football boys put out a good fight during Friday’s game but had an ending score of 34 – 21, with JCHS in the lead. CCHS cheer joined JCHS cheer at halftime to deliver an amazing dance, along with the JCHS band and Color Guard performing.

Throughout the game, tensions got pretty high between the Cavaliers and the Jays. There were even students who got suspended for inappropriate behavior!

Here are some comments that people made about  the game. (They wanted to stay anonymous.)

  • “They were too cocky just to lose. JC Football players are mean.” -CCHS Student
  • “We came into it lightheaded and got humbled quickly.”- CCHS Student
  • “I think our team played hard, obviously we were playing a really quality opponent. I think moving forward, the team is still in good shape to play well in districts. I would have liked to see a win, especially against your rival, but you take these losses as opportunities to get better.”-CCHS Teacher
  • “It was really bad, we could have done more.”-CCHS Student

Generally, Cap City people were pretty disappointed with this loss, but there is still hope for the future! Good game, Capital City football!
