Your alarm just went off, you’re cozy and warm in your blankets. You think about pressing snooze one more time to get that extra five minutes of rest. Uh- oh, you’ve overslept now you’re rushing to get ready and feel overwhelmed.
Mornings are hard, adding a routine to it can make your day feel calmer and more organized. The more you struggle in the mornings the more energy you lose making you feel even more drained.
Having a morning routine can increase your productivity levels. Start your days slow, give yourself enough time to relax in bed without stressing about running out of time.
Opening t
he curtains and letting natural light in will make you feel more energized. Maybe even play some music as you get ready to light up your brain.
Eating a good breakfast has proven to energize your body for longer. Coffee might help for the mornings but your body will eventually crash without food.
Morning exercise is also good for you as it increases serotonin which enhances your ability to process stress that you might experience through the day.
Most importantly start your day with a positive, productive mindset! The way you think will determine your whole day so choose wisely!
