Fortnite Season Review
February 3, 2023
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 has been out for a few months now, and to say the least, the gameplay and performance changes this season are drastically different.
Starting with performance, Fortnite has changed Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5, making things a little more realistic and adding millions of pixels to almost every property. Trees went from having thousands of pixels to millions. So did rocks and grass blades. They added ray tracing as well, allowing better performance on next gen consoles and higher end PC’s. Next Gen Fortnite recently got new performance upgrades with the loading times being even quicker than they were in previous seasons.
The cosmetics this season is top tier, collaborating with My Hero Academia, Mr. Beast, Kid LAROI and more. This season the loot pool has been crazy, including the My Hero Deku Smash, the Kahmehameha, and the Shockwave hammer.
Both casual and competitive gamers have been going crazy over this season. And its worth giving it a shot if you haven’t already.
