Christmas is the best time of the year. It is a holiday when everyone can feel joy and celebrate just one day of the year in all kinds of ways, including decorating their house, baking cookies, listening to cool holiday tunes, and, of course, watching festive movies. Classic Christmas movies get played every year such as Elf, Home Alone, and Polar Express. These movies genuinely put us in the mood for the holiday. - Home Alone
What a classic!! Home Alone was made in the 1990s and it is a family comedy about a little eight-year-old boy Kevin who was accidentally left at home with his huge family of fifteen. They left for a Christmas vacation and Kevin was saddened to be left. Later Kevin figures out that he enjoys his peace and eventually defends his home from two burglars by using a series of traps. If you prefer solitude or your home environment while also showing a strong bent toward creativity, the classic movie Home Alone represents you.
- The Grinch Stole Christmas
You’re a mean one Mr. Grinch! The Grinch movie is made about a funky green cat creature that absolutely despises Christmas. He lives in a town called Mount Crumpit overlooking the cheerful citizens of Whoville. The Grinch and his dog named Max are absolutely secluded from the town. One day he famously tries to steal Christmas by taking every single Whoville’s presents, and decorations but later learns the true meaning of the celebration. This caused Mr. Grinch’s heart to grow, turning him away from the villain he used to be. The Polar Express is a fun children’s Christmas movie about a doubtful young boy who takes a train that happens to be magical to the North Pole on Christmas Eve. On this magical train ride, the young boy rediscovers the wonderful spirit of Christmas and his profound belief in Santa. This happened with the event of his hearing a magical silver bell that only believers can hear. The Elf is an ultimate Christmas comedy about an Elf who was a human raised as an elf at the North Pole, named Buddy. Buddy travels all the way to New York City to find his biological father who comes out to be very dismissive but ends up accepting Buddy. While Buddy is on his journey he spreads festive Christmas cheer. On Christmas Eve Buddy and his family end up in a Christmas crisis due to the unbelief of Santa. Buddy and his family discover that humans need more belief and Christmas spirit to keep Santaś sleigh flying and magic to help save Christmas. - The Nightmare Before Christmas
This movie is a stop-motion darkly animated Christmas movie about a tall skeletal Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington. Jack in Halloween town becomes very bored with his scary routines and discovers Christmas town and comes to the conclusion that he should take over and bring Christmas to his residents. This leads to amusing chaotic responses leading him to kidnap Santa Claus. During all of this, he finds love with a rag doll who ends up warning him about things. When you appreciate the unique, love for music, embracing two sides, and value self discovery, The Nightmare Before Christmas is your movie, and therefore is the Christmas that embodies you as a whole.
