Further south, storms in Texas have left over 60,000 residents without power. Another tornado hit Illinois, dropping hail five inches in diameter leaving damage on cars.
A widespread level two of five risk of severe thunderstorms is in place on Wednesday for more than fifty-five million people from Texas to Louisiana, all the way to West Virginia. The most damaging factor all across is the aggressive winds.
