The Capital City High School Theatre is back in business with three productions planned for the 2021-2022 school year. The first play planned for this school year is Silent Sky which is based on the life of Henrietta Swan Leavitt, an astronomer in the early 1900’s who helped pave the way for women in STEM. The second show planned for the year is Murder on the Orient Express which was initially planned for the 2020-2021 school year, but was eventually canceled due to COVID restrictions. Murder on the Orient Express is a murder mystery based on the novel of the same name by Agatha Christie.  The last show of the year is a brand new musical called Overture which follows the story of the Kansas City Philharmonic.
