Volleyball Teacher Appreciation Night

Lady Cavs Recognizing Teachers in Game Versus Hallsville

Volleyball+Teacher+Appreciation+Night

As the CCHS volleyball season comes to an end, the volleyball girls have decided to show one of their teachers/coaches their appreciation for everything they do off the court.

Each member of the team is inviting one of their teachers to watch a game and be recognized. After the game, they are going to present letters to their teacher that expresses their appreciation for them.

I spoke with two freshmen volleyball players about this. One of the questions I asked them was “who was the teacher they wrote their letter to and why?” Freshman player, Austyn Flower said, “I wrote mine to Mr. Regan because he helped me fit in after I first moved to Jeff City.” Freshman player Miki Peters said, “I wrote mine to Coach Gorman because she helped me grow as a player.”

The original event was canceled, but luckily rescheduled for October 22nd after the game against the Hallsville Lady Indians. The JV game starts at 5:30 and the varsity game is at 6:30. Both contest are at Capital City High School.
