Ice Cream Social Clubs List


This past Wednesday CCHS clubs held an ice cream social event in the cafeteria where students got to see and talk to club leaders and eat some ice cream. We went and talked to club leaders to get a description of the club and the events that you would participate in.



1.  Speech and Debate


room/meeting frequency- every Wednesday and Thursday

Participate and compete in speech and debate events


2. Student Council

Plan and set up student body events


3. Model United Nations



Go to conferences and debate international issues


4. FCA


every Wednesday @ 8:15

Participate in games, do devotional, and pray


5. Gardening Club


Every Monday

Plant and take care of plants


6. Theater



Auditions are concluded but help behind the scenes needed


7. Spanish Club


2 times a month

Go out to eat once a month, play games, and make food


8. Esports


Tuesdays and Thursdays after school

Play and compete in video games such as Smash Bros and Apex Legends


9. Archery


Saturday and Sunday

Practice and compete in archery

Saturn McIntire, Plume Staff
Saturn McIntire is a sophomore at Capital City High School. They participate in Speech and Debate and love to go on tournaments. They are also employed at Primrose Retirement Communities, and in their free time love to play video games such as Stellaris, Doom, and Call of Duty. Saturn also enjoys cooking and their favorite meals to cook are burgers, grilled cheese, or french toast. Saturn took this class because they have an interest in journalism and love being apart of a team and they are very excited to bring something new to the Plume.  
Malachi is a 11th grade writer at 16 years old, soon to be 17, and actively working to give you new info on the latest clubs in CCHS, usually spotted in room 114 during seventh hour, he is a bit of a nerd who's knowledge goes quite a bit when it comes to video games. Born in Jefferson City Missouri, he lives in his home with his mother and step father, who actively support him.
