The Capital City Football team was able to take home an amazing victory at their very first home game!

Capital City wasn’t doing so hot throughout the entire game. The crowds watched in disbelief as Battle made their touchdowns over and over. Capital City was losing hope, thinking the win wouldn’t be theirs.

The half-time show raised some spirits, with the dance team dancing to a remix of “Only Girl (In the World)” By Rihanna, along with Capital City Band and Color Guard performing a fantastic show.

Something unpredictably amazing happened during the last minute of the game. The football team finally made a touchdown that brought our score above Battle! The score was 37 – 34 by the end of the game and the crowd went wild! When the game ended, the crowd went rushing to celebrate with the football team, chanting the Capital City fight song.

The Football team fought hard for this win, making Capital City proud. Congrats to the Capital City Football team on winning the first game of the season!
