If there has ever been a moment where you were looking for a club after school because your family doesn’t do anything fun, look no further than the Tabletop Games club. Mr. Clements, the sponsor of the Tabletop Games club, has taken it upon himself to host the club in his room after school on Tuesdays.
Essentially, what happens in Tabletop Games club is that every time they meet, they learn a new board game. Then after that, they decide which game to play. From my observations, a club favorite has been the social deduction game they lovingly refer to as “Secret Santa.”
Along with the regular tabletop games with Mr. Clements, Ms. Turner also has a hand in the club. Ms. Turner is hosting a group tabletop RPG, also known as Dungeons & Dragons. Both are able to be joined by asking their respective hosts. However, Ms. Turner’s group only has a limited amount of slots available, so be sure to ask before it’s too late if you’re interested.
In either the case you join the regular game sessions or joining the D&D campaign, the purpose of the club is to entertain yourself with something other than video games. Speaking from experience, I found it very enjoyable for the time I’ve been there. It’s been great for making connections with other people and having a lot of fun in a personal environment.
