The Capital City Cavs end the regular season with a record of (13-13) and head into the first game of districts against a (6-20) Lebanon.
The Cavs play at home against Lebanon and beat them 66-30. The Cavs took this as their rest game and prepared to play their rival the Jefferson City Jay Birds. Which the Cavs beat a week earlier and were ready for the same result. But

the Jays were better prepared than the last time they saw the Cavs. The Jay Birds went down early in the game and went into half time down a considerable amount. When the second half of the game started the Jays came out swinging almost instantly, cutting the lead down until the teams were tied. The game remained close until the end of the game where the Cavs started to dominate JC, the Cavs ended up winning 73-62.
After the win against Jeff City the Cavs then had their toughest opponent yet. The game was held at Capital City against Helias with Helias being the home team. From the start of the game the Crusaders were dominant. With a strong mixture of tough

defense, strong paint control, and what felt like almost automatic threes the Cavs knew they had to work. The Cavs stayed in the game for the most part, and came back from a couple of big deficits, it felt like the Crusaders always had
an answer to the Cavs. The Cavaliers ended up losing 75-62, Helias will now go and play against Hillcrest on March 14th.
Thank you Seniors for the amazing year. We hope you made plenty of memories, we hope you know you will go down in history. Good luck in college wherever you may end up.
